LG Firmware Update Central (Beta)
This page delivers the latest official firmware for your LG Smartphone, both for open and subsidized (SIM locked) handsets. Its database is updated daily, so you won't need to look elsewhere (you will even find the necessary USB drivers for your computer to perform the update).
The wizard will guide you trough the most suitable files for your phone (considering the model and country of origin) so you can update your current firmware but also get an open (generic) update to get rid of carrier customizations. You might even get a firmware from another region to change the language of your phone or simply have the latest in case yours is abandoned.
